Southside Panthers (Selma, AL) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Moody Blue Devils (Moody, AL), 54-31 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Southside upgrades its record to 23-1 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Guntersville (Guntersville, AL) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 16. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 30-4. Guntersville won 51-31 in their recent non-league bout against Douglas (Douglas, AL)

Next up, the Blue Devils play the Southside Panthers (Gadsden, AL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 13. Moody will attempt to upgrade on its 16-9 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 21-7 record after their 42-33 non-league win over Alexandria (Alexandria, AL).
