Michigan High School Basketball - Northwest trounces Pioneer

The Northwest Mounties (Jackson, MI) basketball crushed the visiting Pioneer Pioneers (Ann Arbor, MI), 66-27 in Monday's non-league test.
The Mounties (17-2) will now prepare for their test against Hastings (Hastings, MI). The Saxons go into the Interstate 8 test with a 7-12 record. In their last test, Hastings was trounced by Western (Parma, MI), 51-27, in a league test.
The Pioneers now own a 6-11 record. They play next when they travel to Lincoln for a Southeastern - Red test on Tuesday, February 14. Pioneer will encounter a Railsplitters squad coming off a 60-45 league loss to Huron (Ann Arbor, MI). The Railsplitters record now stands at 6-11.
