The crowd at Monday's non-league test between the Monroe Area Purple Hurricanes (Monroe, GA) and the visiting Putnam County War Eagles (Eatonton, GA), saw Monroe Area's soccer squad triumph over Putnam County by a margin of 8-0.
The Purple Hurricanes now sport a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to George Walton Academy for a non-league test on Thursday, February 16.
With the loss, Putnam County drops to 1-2 on the season. The war eagles travel to Glenn Hills (Augusta, GA) to meet the Spartans in a 2A Region 4 test on Thursday, February 16. The Spartans come into the test with a record of 0-0.
