Maynard Tigers (Maynard, MA) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Sutton/Douglas (Sutton, MA), 52-42 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Maynard upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign.
Next up, the play the Nipmuc Regional Warriors (Upton, MA) in a bout, on Wednesday, February 15. Sutton/Douglas will attempt to upgrade on its 7-9 season record. The Warriors come into the bout with a 14-2 record after their 53-38 non-league win over Blackstone Valley RVT (Upton, MA).
