The Federal Hocking Lancers basketball team scored 50 points and held the host Athens Bulldogs to 35 in the Lancers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Lancers now sport a 15-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Trimble for a Tri-Valley II contest on Friday, February 16. Federal Hocking will meet a Tomcats team coming off a 65-55 league loss to Belpre (Belpre, OH). The Tomcats record now stands at 13-7.
The Bulldogs (4-17) will now prepare for their contest against Nelsonville-York (Nelsonville, OH). The Buckeyes enter the Tri-Valley I contest with a 13-8 record. In their last contest, Nelsonville-York ran past Wellston (Wellston, OH), 73-33, in a league contest.
