Austin Eagles (Austin, IN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting New Washington Mustangs (New Washington, IN), 61-29 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Austin upgrades its record to 7-13 on the season. The Eagles host Southwestern (Hanover, IN) to play the Rebels in a non-league bout on Friday, February 16. The Rebels go into the bout with a record of 18-2. Southwestern won 66-35 in their recent league bout against Rising Sun (Rising Sun, IN)

Next up, the Mustangs play the South Central Rebels (Elizabeth, IN) in a Southern bout, on Friday, February 16. New Washington will attempt to upgrade on its 4-16 season record. The Rebels go into the bout with a 13-5 record after their 62-10 non-league win over Cannelton (Cannelton, IN).
