The Berea Pirates basketball team scored 79 points and held the host Lee County Bobcats to 67 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Pirates now sport a 17-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sayre for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 15. Berea will meet a Spartans team coming off a 67-64 league loss to Henry Clay (Lexington, KY). The Spartans record now stands at 16-9.

The Bobcats (8-18) will now prepare for their contest against Menifee County (Frenchburg, KY). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 8-17 record. In their last contest, Menifee County was outscored by Morgan County (West Liberty, KY), 72-58, in a non-league contest.
