The Boone County Rebels basketball team (Florence, KY), dropped 52-39 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Simon Kenton Pioneers (Independence, KY)

The Pioneers now possess a 12-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Anderson County for a non-league battle on Friday, February 16. Simon Kenton will confront a Bearcats team coming off a 62-50 non-league win over West Jessamine (Nicholasville, KY). The Bearcats record now stands at 15-9.

The Rebels (16-7) will now prepare for their battle against Archbishop McNicholas (Cincinnati, OH). The Rockets come into the non-league battle with a 11-9 record. In their last battle, Archbishop McNicholas beat Roger Bacon (Cincinnati, OH), 75-36, in a non-league battle.
