Missouri High School Basketball - Branson topped by Carthage

The Carthage Tigers basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the host Branson Pirates to 53 in the Tigers league victory on Tuesday.
The Tigers now sport a 14-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Willard for a Central Ozarks contest on Friday, February 16. Carthage will battle a Tigers team coming off a 75-45 league loss to Nixa (Nixa, MO). The Tigers record now stands at 14-8.
The Pirates (8-12) will now prepare for their contest against Joplin (Joplin, MO). The Eagles come into the Central Ozarks contest with a 5-20 record. In their last contest, Joplin was defeated by Webb City (Webb City, MO), 73-43, in a league contest.
