The Burke Cougars (Burke, SD) basketball nipped the host Colome Cowboys (Colome, SD), 70-65 in Tuesday's league test.

The Cougars (6-12) will now prepare for their test against Alcester-Hudson (Alcester, SD). The Cubs go into the non-league test with a 8-10 record. In their last test, Alcester-Hudson got by Freeman Academy/Marion (Freeman, SD), 69-53, in a league test.

The Cowboys now own a 2-15 record. They play next when they travel to Scotland for a non-league test on Saturday, February 17. Colome will encounter a Highlanders squad coming off a 49-46 league loss to Menno (Menno, SD). The Highlanders record now stands at 1-18.
