The Calhoun Warriors basketball team (Hardin, IL), was toppled 60-44 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Pittsfield Saukees (Pittsfield, IL)
The Saukees now possess a 20-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Liberty for a non-league battle on Thursday, February 15. Pittsfield will confront a Eagles team coming off a 62-50 league win over Rushville-Industry (Rushville, IL). The Eagles record now stands at 10-17.
The Warriors (19-10) will now prepare for their battle against Griggsville-Perry (Griggsville, IL). The Tornadoes come into the Western Illinois Valley battle with a 25-5 record. In their last battle, Griggsville-Perry beat Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia (Concord, IL), 53-47, in a league battle.
