The Montello Hilltoppers basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Cambria-Friesland Hilltoppers to 54 in the Hilltoppers league triumph on Tuesday.

The Hilltoppers now sport a 10-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fall River for a Trailways - West contest on Friday, February 16. Montello will meet a Pirates team coming off a 67-52 league loss to Green Lake/Princeton (Green Lake, WI). The Pirates record now stands at 11-10.

The Hilltoppers (8-13) will now prepare for their contest against Markesan (Markesan, WI). The Hornets enter the Trailways - West contest with a 4-16 record. In their last contest, Markesan was nudged by Pardeeville (Pardeeville, WI), 57-47, in a league contest.
