Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Cherokee Chiefs (Marlton, NJ) and the host Seneca Golden Eagles (Tabernacle, NJ), saw Cherokee's basketball squad hold off Seneca by a tally of 44-37.

With the victory, Cherokee improves its record to 16-12 on the campaign.

Next up, the Golden Eagles play the LEAP Academy Lancers (Camden, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 15. Seneca will attempt to improve on its 7-18 season record. The Lancers come into the challenge with a 12-10 record after their 85-61 non-league loss to Nottingham (Hamilton, NJ).
