In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Maryville Spoofhounds (Maryville, MO) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Creston Panthers (Creston, IA), by a margin of 89-48.

The Spoofhounds (15-6) will now prepare for their outing against North Platte (Dearborn, MO). The Panthers go into the non-league outing with a 18-7 record. In their last outing, North Platte was trounced by East Buchanan (Gower, MO), 60-54, in a league outing.

The Panthers now own a 9-12 record. They play next when they host Harlan for a Hawkeye Ten outing on Monday, February 19. Creston will clash with a Cyclones squad coming off a 81-50 non-league loss to Carroll (Carroll, IA). The Cyclones record now stands at 12-9.
