The Lincoln Railsplitters basketball team (Des Moines, IA), dropped 59-41 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Dowling Catholic Maroons (West Des Moines, IA)
The Maroons now sport a 9-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Norwalk for a non-league battle on Thursday, February 15. Dowling Catholic will battle a Warriors team coming off a 77-75 non-league win over A-D-M (Adel, IA). The Warriors record now stands at 17-4.
The Railsplitters (4-13) will now prepare for their battle against Northwest (Waukee, IA). The Wolves come into the Freelance battle with a 13-8 record. In their last battle, Northwest dropped by Ankeny Centennial (Ankeny, IA), 49-35, in a non-league battle.
