The Walker Wildcats (Walker, LA) basketball were winner over the host Dutchtown Griffins (Geismar, LA), 56-43 in Tuesday's league contest.
The Wildcats now sport a 17-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Ascension for a 5A District 5 contest on Friday, February 16. Walker will battle a Spartans team coming off a 85-66 league win over St. Amant (St. Amant, LA). The Spartans record now stands at 12-17.
The Griffins (14-16) will now prepare for their contest against Live Oak (Watson, LA). The Eagles enter the 5A District 5 contest with a 19-9 record. In their last contest, Live Oak ran past Denham Springs (Denham Springs, LA), 52-46, in a league contest.
