Ohio High School Basketball - Lakewood knocked off by Elyria

The Elyria Pioneers basketball team scored 67 points and held the host Lakewood Rangers to 47 in the Pioneers non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Pioneers now sport a 13-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Midview for a Southwestern contest on Friday, February 16. Elyria will meet a Middies team coming off a 70-67 non-league win over North Olmsted (North Olmsted, OH). The Middies record now stands at 12-8.

The Rangers (15-6) will now prepare for their contest against Holy Name (Parma Heights, OH). The Green Wave enter the Great Lakes contest with a 12-7 record. In their last contest, Holy Name ran past Bay (Bay Village, OH), 84-59, in a league contest.
