In Tuesday's non-league outing, the South Barber Chieftains (Kiowa, KS) basketball squad edged the host Fairfield Falcons (Langdon, KS), by a margin of 54-47.
The Chieftains (10-4) will now prepare for their outing against Burrton (Burrton, KS). The Chargers go into the non-league outing with a 0-6 record.
The Falcons now own a 6-12 record. They play next when they travel to Norwich for a Heart of the Plains outing on Friday, February 16. Fairfield will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 56-40 non-league win over Stafford (Stafford, KS). The Eagles record now stands at 11-7.
