The Kearney Bearcats (Kearney, NE) basketball knocked off the host Fremont Tigers (Fremont, NE), 75-56 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Bearcats (15-6) will now prepare for their test against Lincoln Southwest (Lincoln, NE). The Silver Hawks go into the A District TBD test with a 13-6 record. In their last test, Lincoln Southwest notched a victory over Lincoln North Star (Lincoln, NE), 84-65, in a league test.
The Tigers now own a 8-13 record. They play next when they travel to Millard South for a non-league test on Friday, February 16. Fremont will encounter a Patriots squad coming off a 69-59 league win over Millard West (Omaha, NE). The Patriots record now stands at 8-11.
