Old Fort Stockaders (Old Fort, OH) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Genoa Area Comets (Genoa, OH), 50-31 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Old Fort upgrades its record to 15-5 on the season. The Stockaders host Calvert (Tiffin, OH) to play the Senecas in a Sandusky Bay - River bout on Friday, February 16. The Senecas go into the bout with a record of 16-4. Calvert won 66-26 in their recent league bout against Danbury (Lakeside, OH)

Next up, the Comets play the Lake Flyers (Millbury, OH) in a Northern Buckeye bout, on Friday, February 16. Genoa Area will attempt to upgrade on its 14-5 season record. The Flyers go into the bout with a 13-6 record after their 73-64 non-league win over Port Clinton (Port Clinton, OH).
