The Hartford Hurricanes basketball team scored 70 points and restricted the host Rivendell Academy to 38 in the Hurricanes non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Hurricanes now sport a 18-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Otter Valley for a Southern Vermont - B contest on Friday, February 16. Hartford will battle a Otters team coming off a 55-52 league loss to Fair Haven (Fair Haven, VT). The Otters record now stands at 13-7.

The (10-8) will now prepare for their contest against Springfield (Springfield, VT). The Cosmos come into the Southern Vermont - C contest with a 8-11 record. In their last contest, Springfield was routed by White River Valley (Royalton, VT), 91-42, in a non-league contest.
