In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Newark Charter School Patriots (Newark, DE) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Indian River Indians (Dagsboro, DE), by a margin of 84-51.

The Patriots (5-13) will now prepare for their outing against Wilmington Christian (Hockessin, DE). The Warriors go into the non-league outing with a 6-8 record.

The Indians now own a 2-14 record. They play next when they travel to Sussex Academy for a Henlopen - Southern outing on Thursday, February 15. Indian River will clash with a Seahawks squad coming off a 54-46 non-league loss to Holly Grove Christian (Westover, MD). The Seahawks record now stands at 1-17.
