Iowa City West Trojans (Iowa City, IA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Prairie Hawks (Cedar Rapids, IA), 76-60 in a league bout.

With the victory, Iowa City West upgrades its record to 20-2 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Dubuque Senior (Dubuque, IA) to play the Rams in a Mississippi Valley bout on Friday, February 16. The Rams come into the bout with a record of 20-3. Dubuque Senior won 66-50 in their recent league bout against Waterloo West (Waterloo, IA)

Next up, the Hawks play the Waterloo West Wahawks (Waterloo, IA) in a Mississippi Valley bout, on Thursday, February 15. Prairie will attempt to upgrade on its 11-11 season record. The Wahawks come into the bout with a 5-18 record after their 66-50 league loss to Dubuque Senior (Dubuque, IA).
