Tylertown Chiefs (Tylertown, MS) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Jefferson Davis County Jaguars (Bassfield, MS), 59-51 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Tylertown upgrades its record to 15-5 on the season. The Chiefs travel to Noxubee County (Macon, MS) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 17. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 14-12. Noxubee County won 51-45 in their recent non-league bout against Franklin County (Meadville, MS)
