The Morton Panthers (Morton, MS) basketball nipped the host Lawrence County Cougars (Monticello, MS), 56-55 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Panthers (20-8) will now prepare for their test against Raymond (Raymond, MS). The Rangers go into the non-league test with a 27-4 record. In their last test, Raymond got by Bay (Bay St. Louis, MS), 83-14, in a non-league test.
