Lawrence County Bulldogs (Louisa, KY) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Paintsville Tigers (Paintsville, KY), 56-53 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Lawrence County upgrades its record to 21-4 on the season. The Bulldogs host Blazer (Ashland, KY) to clash with the Tomcats in a non-league bout on Friday, February 16. The Tomcats go into the bout with a record of 18-8. Blazer won 56-46 in their recent non-league bout against Rowan County (Morehead, KY)

Next up, the Tigers clash with the Martin County Cardinals (Inez, KY) in a District 57 bout, on Thursday, February 15. Paintsville will attempt to upgrade on its 11-14 season record. The Cardinals go into the bout with a 18-8 record after their 75-72 non-league win over Hazard (Hazard, KY).
