With the victory, Shining Star Sports Academy improves its record to 9-4 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Lab University Prep (Charlotte, NC) to play the Lab Rats in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 16. The Lab Rats come into the challenge with a record of 16-10. Lab University Prep lost 93-64 in their recent non-league challenge against Word of God Christian Academy National (Raleigh, NC)

Next up, the Eagles play the Cristo Rey Royals (Richmond, VA) in a Freelance challenge, on Thursday, February 15. Life Christian Academy will attempt to improve on its 5-15 season record. The Royals come into the challenge with a 15-13 record after their 68-46 league win over The Carmel School (Ruther Glen, VA).
