In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Pella Dutch (Pella, IA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Mt. Pleasant Panthers (Mt. Pleasant, IA), by a count of 95-73.
The Dutch (13-8) will now prepare for their outing against Carlisle (Carlisle, IA). The Wildcats go into the non-league outing with a 4-17 record. In their last outing, Carlisle was crushed by Saydel (Des Moines, IA), 52-48, in a non-league outing.
The Panthers now hold a 13-7 record. They play next when they travel to Keokuk for a Southeast outing on Monday, February 19. Mt. Pleasant will clash with a Chiefs squad coming off a 55-45 non-league win over Quincy Notre Dame (Quincy, IL). The Chiefs record now stands at 17-6.
