North Dakota High School Basketball - Rugby can't hold off New Town

The New Town Eagles basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the visiting Rugby Panthers to 50 in the Eagles league victory on Tuesday.
The Eagles now sport a 6-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Turtle Mountain for a A Region 3 contest on Friday, February 16. New Town will battle a Braves team coming off a 58-51 league win over Nedrose (Minot, ND). The Braves record now stands at 4-15.
The Panthers (8-11) will now prepare for their contest against Hazen (Hazen, ND). The Bison come into the non-league contest with a 10-11 record. In their last contest, Hazen was nudged by Killdeer (Killdeer, ND), 64-60, in a league contest.
