In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Northwestern Area Wildcats (Mellette, SD) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Redfield Pheasants (Redfield, SD), by a margin of 63-37.
The Wildcats (4-14) will now prepare for their outing against Timber Lake (Timber Lake, SD). The Panthers go into the non-league outing with a 11-7 record. In their last outing, Timber Lake was trounced by Cheyenne-Eagle Butte (Eagle Butte, SD), 75-57, in a non-league outing.
The Pheasants now own a 1-17 record. They play next when they travel to Waverly/South Shore for a non-league outing on Thursday, February 15. Redfield will clash with a Coyotes squad coming off a 58-46 non-league loss to Hankinson (Hankinson, ND). The Coyotes record now stands at 11-6.
