The Waterloo Vikings (Atwater, OH) basketball knocked off the visiting Rootstown Rovers (Rootstown, OH), 50-40 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Vikings (15-5) will now prepare for their test against Crestwood (Mantua, OH). The Red Devils go into the non-league test with a 18-2 record. In their last test, Crestwood notched a victory over Field (Mogadore, OH), 71-43, in a non-league test.
The Rovers now own a 4-15 record. They play next when they travel to Mogadore for a Portage Trail test on Friday, February 16. Rootstown will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 83-30 non-league win over Windham (Windham, OH). The Wildcats record now stands at 16-3.
