The St. Joseph Christian Lions basketball team scored 70 points and held the visiting West Nodaway Rockets to 55 in the Lions non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Lions now sport a 18-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Buchanan for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 15. St. Joseph Christian will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 60-54 league win over North Platte (Dearborn, MO). The Bulldogs record now stands at 16-7.

The Rockets (10-9) will now prepare for their contest against East Atchison [Tarkio/Fairfax] (Tarkio, MO). The enter the non-league contest with a 9-14 record.
