In their next game, the Coyotes face the Floresville Tigers (Floresville, TX) in a non-league game, on Friday, February 16. Alice will attempt to move on its 24-12 season record. The Tigers enter the game with a 23-13 record after their 65-56 non-league win over Ingleside (Ingleside, TX).

With the defeat, Hidalgo moves to 8-12 on the year.
