The ASPIRA Charter Wolves basketball team (Newark, DE), was nudged 1-0 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Early College Hornets (Dover, DE)
The Hornets now sport a 17-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Woodbridge for a Henlopen - Southern battle on Thursday, February 15. Early College will battle a Raiders team coming off a 59-58 non-league win over Delaware Military Academy (Wilmington, DE). The Raiders record now stands at 14-4.
The Wolves (1-16) will now prepare for their battle against Red Lion Christian Academy (Bear, DE). The Lions come into the non-league battle with a 7-11 record. In their last battle, Red Lion Christian Academy was nudged by Hodgson Vo-Tech (Newark, DE), 53-36, in a non-league battle.
