Big Sandy Wildcats (Dallardsville, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Iola Bulldogs (Iola, TX), 57-45 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Big Sandy upgrades its record to 15-7 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Shiner (Shiner, TX) to play the Comanches in a non-league bout on Friday, February 16. The Comanches go into the bout with a record of 30-2. Shiner won 54-25 in their recent non-league bout against Bartlett (Bartlett, TX)
