The Bigfork Huskies basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Lake of the Woods Bears to 24 in the Huskies non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Huskies now sport a 13-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mountain Iron-Buhl for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 15. Bigfork will meet a Rangers team coming off a 76-56 non-league win over Rock Ridge co-op [Eveleth-Gilbert/Virginia] (Eveleth, MN). The Rangers record now stands at 21-2.
The Bears (4-18) will now prepare for their contest against Warroad (Warroad, MN). The Warriors enter the non-league contest with a 4-16 record. In their last contest, Warroad triumphed over International Falls (International Falls, MN), 77-62, in a non-league contest.
