Centerville Tornadoes (Centerville, SD) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host St. Mary Cardinals (Dell Rapids, SD), 68-40 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Centerville upgrades its record to 17-3 on the season.
Next up, the Cardinals play the Bridgewater/Emery Huskies (Emery, SD) in a B Region 3 bout, on Thursday, February 15. St. Mary will attempt to upgrade on its 10-9 season record. The Huskies go into the bout with a 7-12 record after their 43-32 non-league loss to Irene/Wakonda (Irene, SD).
