The Sheldon Irish basketball team (Eugene, OR), dropped 56-45 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Crater Comets (Central Point, OR)
The Comets now sport a 19-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Churchill for a 5A Midwestern battle on Friday, February 16. Crater will battle a Lancers team coming off a 77-28 league loss to Springfield (Springfield, OR). The Lancers record now stands at 5-16.
The Irish (11-10) will now prepare for their battle against Grants Pass (Grants Pass, OR). The Cavemen come into the 6A Southwest battle with a 14-9 record. In their last battle, Grants Pass dropped by South Medford (Medford, OR), 34-29, in a league battle.
