The Wakefield Bombers basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting Flint Hills Christian Warriors to 45 in the Bombers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Bombers now sport a 8-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Centre for a Wheat State contest on Thursday, February 15. Wakefield will battle a Cougars team coming off a 36-15 league win over Peabody-Burns (Peabody, KS). The Cougars record now stands at 3-15.
The Warriors (8-6) will now prepare for their contest against Smoky Valley Home Educators (Salina, KS). The enter the Kansas Christian A contest with a 19-2 record. In their last contest, Smoky Valley Home Educators ran past Wichita Defenders HomeSchool (Wichita, KS), 57-43, in a non-league contest.
