In their next game, the Patriots face the Sault Area Blue Devils (Sault St. Marie, MI) in a non-league game, on Friday, February 16. Westwood will attempt to move on its 9-8 season record. The Blue Devils enter the game with a 10-4 record after their 41-35 non-league win over Alpena (Alpena, MI).

With the defeat, Hancock moves to 7-9 on the year. The Bulldogs host Lake Linden-Hubbell (Lake Linden, MI) to face the Lakes in a non-league game on Thursday, February 15. The Lakes enter the game with a record of 18-1. Lake Linden-Hubbell won 68-34 in their recent league game against L'Anse (L'Anse, MI)
