The Romeoville Spartans (Romeoville, IL) basketball felled the host Marist RedHawks (Chicago, IL), 50-40 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Spartans (28-3) will now prepare for their test against Sandburg (Orland Park, IL). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 18-14 record. In their last test, Sandburg thwarted Thornton Fractional South (Lansing, IL), 62-31, in a non-league test.
The RedHawks now own a 10-22 record.
