The Washington Warriors basketball team scored 50 points and restricted the host Mitchell Kernels to 34 in the Warriors league victory on Tuesday.
The Warriors now sport a 8-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Roosevelt for a AA contest on Friday, February 16. Washington will battle a Rough Riders team coming off a 39-33 league loss to Lincoln (Sioux Falls, SD). The Rough Riders record now stands at 3-13.
The Kernels (15-1) will now prepare for their contest against Riggs (Pierre, SD). The Governors come into the AA contest with a 12-5 record. In their last contest, Riggs prevailed over Brookings (Brookings, SD), 61-39, in a league contest.
