Mt. Gilead Indians (Mt. Gilead, OH) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Tree of Life Christian Trojans (Columbus, OH), 47-42 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Mt. Gilead upgrades its record to 11-11 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Madison Christian (Groveport, OH) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 21. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 18-3. Madison Christian won 48-10 in their recent league bout against Granville Christian Academy (Granville, OH)

Next up, the Trojans play the Fredericktown Freddies (Fredericktown, OH) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 20. Tree of Life Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 13-8 season record. The Freddies come into the bout with a 12-10 record after their 52-42 non-league win over Licking Valley (Newark, OH).
