Valley Lutheran Chargers (Saginaw, MI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Standish-Sterling Panthers (Standish, MI), 41-33 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Valley Lutheran upgrades its record to 10-7 on the season. The Chargers travel to St. Louis (St. Louis, MI) to play the Sharks in a Tri-Valley - West II bout on Friday, February 16. The Sharks go into the bout with a record of 15-3. St. Louis won 41-28 in their recent non-league bout against Lakeview (Lakeview, MI)

Next up, the Panthers play the Bullock Creek Lancers (Midland, MI) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 16. Standish-Sterling will attempt to upgrade on its 12-6 season record. The Lancers go into the bout with a 8-10 record after their 36-26 non-league loss to Michigan Lutheran Seminary (Saginaw, MI).
