Oconee County Warriors (Watkinsville, GA) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Clarke Central Gladiators (Athens, GA), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Warriors confront the Cherokee Bluff Bears (Flowery Branch, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 16. Oconee County will attempt to better on its 2-0 season record. The Bears enter the challenge with a 3-2 record after their 5-2 non-league win over Lanier Christian Academy (Flowery Branch, GA).

The Gladiators now have a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host Flowery Branch for a 5A Region 8 challenge on Friday, February 16. Clarke Central will confront a Falcons team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Madison County (Danielsville, GA). The Falcons record now stands at 1-3.
