The Monroe Golden Tornadoes soccer team (Albany, GA), was overwhelmed 5-0 in Tuesday's non-league outing with the visiting Lanier County Bulldogs (Lakeland, GA)

With the win, Lanier County advances its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Atkinson County (Pearson, GA) to play the Rebels in a 1A D-II Region 1 outing on Friday, February 16. The Rebels go into the outing with a record of 0-1. Atkinson County lost 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against Lee County (Leesburg, GA)

In their next game, the Golden Tornadoes play the Westover Patriots (Albany, GA) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, February 15. Monroe will attempt to advance on its 0-4 season record.
