In Tuesday's non-league battle, the host Tift County Blue Devils soccer squad scored a close 4-3 triumph over the Ware County Gators.
The Blue Devils (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against Lee County (Leesburg, GA). The Trojans come into the 6A Region 1 battle with a 2-1 record. In their last battle, Lee County nudged Atkinson County (Pearson, GA), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
The Gators (1-4) will now prepare for their battle against Greenbrier (Evans, GA). The Wolfpack come into the 5A Region 1 battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Greenbrier nudged Grovetown (Grovetown, GA), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
