Temple Wildcats (Temple, TX) fans were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Lago Vista Vikings (Lago Vista, TX), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Wildcats confront the Copperas Cove Bulldawgs (Copperas Cove, TX) in a 6A Region 2 District 12 challenge, on Friday, February 16. Temple will attempt to better on its 7-3 season record. The Bulldawgs enter the challenge with a 3-11 record after their 2-0 league loss to Harker Heights (Harker Heights, TX).

The Vikings now have a 6-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Marble Falls for a 4A Region 4 District 25 challenge on Friday, February 16. Lago Vista will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 6-0 league win over Burnet (Burnet, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 13-2.
