In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Roosevelt Mustangs (Eastvale, CA) softball team held off the host St. Paul Swordsmen (Santa Fe Springs, CA), by a margin of 8-7.
With the triumph, Roosevelt moves its record to 2-0 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Claremont (Claremont, CA) to play the Wolfpack in a non-league contest on Thursday, February 15. The Wolfpack come into the contest with a record of 0-1. Claremont lost 9-3 in their recent non-league contest against Don Lugo (Chino, CA)
In their next game, the Swordsmen play the Paloma Valley Wildcats (Menifee, CA) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, February 14. St. Paul will attempt to move on its 2-2 season record. The Wildcats come into the contest with a 0-2 record after their 10-0 non-league loss to Beaumont (Beaumont, CA).
