The Acadiana Rams (Lafayette, LA) baseball the host North Vermilion Patriots (Maurice, LA), 7-2 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
The Rams now own a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host St. Thomas More for a non-league challenge on Friday, February 14. Acadiana will play a Cougars team coming off a 7-1 non-league win over St. Edmund (Eunice, LA). The Cougars record now stands at 1-0.
With the defeat, North Vermilion drops to 1-1 on the year. The Patriots host Sacred Heart (Ville Platte, LA) to play the Trojans in a non-league test on Friday, February 14. The Trojans go into the test with a record of 1-0. Sacred Heart won 12-2 in their recent non-league test against Crowley (Crowley, LA)
